Home Renovation- Bryan, TX Edition

I partnered up with http://www.alimichelleinteriors.com to remodel this beautifully crafted home in Bryan, Texas. This house is located in a real area so we knew we wanted to go with a clean, modern farmhouse look. We are so pleased at how well it turned out and are so excited to share these photos with you!

Here are some before and afters so you can see how drastic these changes were!

This house has an entirely new layout which makes it more functional and feel much bigger. The white and neutral tones were implemented throughout the home for rental and resale purposes.

The wall color is Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray, while the cabinets and bookcases are slightly darker.

We chose a beveled, white subway tile for the backsplash to add some dimension but still keeping the space neutral.

This little reading nook was created to have desk space along with additional storage. Can you believe this used to be a closet? This fun, farmhouse light fixture was added for the breakfast area to add charm and texture to the space.

Here is the whole space! Knocking down the existing wall here really opened up the area and made the open floorpan that we were looking for.

This fireplace really brought the whole space together and I am so excited at how it turned out. We started by removing the glass cover and painted this brick a clean white color. The mantle was also very outdated so we removed the scalloped trim. (See before pictures above.) Now, it is a beautiful and neutral focal point for this living room.

The bathrooms got updated to be bright and airy. We went for more of a modern feel with the rectangular sinks, chrome finishes, and light colored granite.

Each of the four bedrooms got a coat of fresh paint, beautiful dark wood floors, all new doors, and new light fixtures. This room was one of my favorites with a window seat, perfect for a reading nook.

This master bath remodel was huge! We added a whole shower to give this home 2 full bathrooms. This is a major bonus for renters or resale purposes, but also added quite a lot of value to this home.

I’d say that this was quite a transformation! It was such a fun project piece and I love how it all turned out.
